I’d heard other people had released shoes and it just seemed like the best possible thing a person could ever do. It took a long time and a lot of work for everything to come together and when I finally released that shoe it was like opening a whole new chapter on life.

Like at the end of Watership Down – i really hope both shoes come to a better fate than that !!! However i do like the feeling that 'El-ahrairah' is present helping the shoe realize his true potential as a free spirit !

No, the other one escaped a while back. I think that character in the short film hopes they'll be reunited, like at the end of Watership Down.
