In October 2018 we set out to ride from Portland to Hood River, Oregon, where we’d set a world record for most Egg Plants in a one hour session on a vert ramp with a team of five skaters. If you don’t skate and that makes no sense to you don’t worry, there’re a bunch of photos below shot by Jon Humphries and a short video of the adventure posted over here. The Guinness Book has since approved the record, but I just clicked in and it turns out that they’ve posted the record at 312 Egg Plants, which is weird because we clocked 330 with video and witness evidence. So with that, I’m waiting to hear what they say before I order certificates for the crew. Hopefully they just correct it and in the meantime I hope you enjoy the photos…

The morning ride out and up Mount Hood was drizzly but quite nice for the coolness on the climb.
